Welcome to a world where our passions intertwine with life’s most meaningful moments. We are a family-owned shop whose story was written by a stroke of luck and, in this case… Formula 1 trading cards!
Our journey with cards began in 2026, following the delayed release of the 2025 Topps Chrome Formula 1 75th Anniversary series. We opened our first 2025 Topps Chrome Formula 1 Hobby Box with bated breath. A collector’s path can be unpredictable – right off the bat, we hit a unique misprint (a 00/00 card), which sent us on an intense search for answers, only to discover it was a widespread error on all cards of that type…
The excitement continued when we pulled a Lando Norris card numbered 26/50 featuring his official on-card autograph. We were absolutely captivated by the quality and beauty of this series.
Riding that wave of excitement, we opened another 2025 Topps Chrome Formula 1 Hobby Box, along with the luxury edition, 2025 Topps Formula 1 Eccellenza. In February and March 2026, destiny smiled upon us twice. We pulled two top-tier cards with the exact same, incredibly low serial number: 04/10 (an Amaury Cordeel autograph and a stunning La Passione Rookie Card of Kimi Antonelli).
Then, exactly on April 10th (written as 04/10 in the date format), our daughter, Sophia, was born. The numbers pulled from those cards aligned perfectly with the birth date of our greatest family blessing.
And that is how it happened.
The name of our shop – FourTenSophia.com – is a direct tribute to this magical moment. Although Sophia is still tiny and will decide for herself what she wants to do in the future, this shop is a project straight from our hearts, dedicated to her. We are building it to give our daughter a safe and secure head start into adulthood.
